The Church of the Good Shepherd is an iconic photography site. However as we need to protect the church grounds and manage the expectations of other visitors we require professionals to apply for a Private Property Use permit and pay a fee.
Priority will always be given to couples who have arranged to be married at The Church of the Good Shepherd for whom the commercial rates below do not apply.
The fee is for photography on Church grounds and doesn't include access to the Church.
Exclusive access is not offered.
A fee is payable to the guide on arrival for couples not married at the church (couple only or with amateur friend).
30 minute session | $50
No public access after the gates are closed at dusk.
A fee is payable to the guide on arrival for wedding groups or other groups not in a ceremony at the church accompanied by a professional photographer. No professional photos on Sundays.
30 minute session | $100
No public access after the gates are closed at dusk.
Concessions are available to Wedding Photographers visiting the site often:
10 x 30 minute sessions | $800.00
10 x 60 minute sessions | $1200.00
Please apply for a permit prior to your first visit. You will be asked to leave if you do not have a permit. No professional photos on Sundays.

The church and grounds may be closed at any time for a private wedding or funeral for up to 2 hours.
